Actually had a couple of heavy showers on my lordy!

yep at lil ones school fete it rained after days of missing storms too.

It will rain here on Saturday as we have a village fete going on.

Wasn't forecast anything, but my home town got a soaking. This is typical. But we got a bit of rain yesterday, looked promising and it rained so hard i never noticed the floor outside was damp and the radar showed as usual, that the cloud broke up as it hit me. This is typical.

Be thankful..I got nothing as usual but at least this time I wasn't forecast anything. watched all the storm past me by miles.

wasn't forecast anything stormy, and the forecast for my area was correct. So I can't moan really.

Nothing here apart from sun. oh well.

I have said before I never studied meteorology, and as far as storms are concerned I am learning the basics because I plan to be a storm spotter. I never take ANY forecast as gospel, I read every thing it says regarding any warning on met0, and I have learnt that the percentage risks of storm mean nothing, considering I had a 0 risk last week and got quite a few storms, but nothing when it's said 80%. Therefore I take a forecast as a guide of what could happen, not would WILL happen. Feeling like i'm treated like a kid at school with it all, when I'm not stupid just because I didn't study stuff. I'm here to learn and make sense of what charts mean and all the terms. I am fed up having people who aren't in my area trying to flame me because I am moaning about lack of storms in a 'please moan' thread.

I will be rocking a very warm, dry period. Bit of cloudy murk in the morning clearing to fair weather puffs, a nice breeze.

I go by events, so if an event is forecast and I don't get something, then I consider myself 'NSC' no matter how many storms I get in a year, and in this case on Saturday I had nothing so was 'NSC'. On Balance A lot of storms miss my location or spilt up, and I can assure you that we have missed out a fair bit too when other places haven't. This thread BTW is here so we can moan about stuff , so I shall moan as much as i please.

Excuse me? Normally I don't get storms. I didn't on Saturday and yesterdays storm didn't hit me, i could just hear it. So what you trying to say?

No storms forecast, we have thunder here. Went too quick mind.

My storm seems to have lost it, gone from getting more and more thunder to nothing..

cell to my east came out of no where, just a few drops of rain then thunder..

just took lil one out to try out her tennis and baseball sets, a few drops of rain, 10mins later 6 booms of thunder and counting, wow that grew quick!

Thought things were happening at dinner time, it got cloudy and dark. Pizza ordered. At least that delivered. In all due fairness, a few hours before i think it would of developed into something.

Back in. At least had something Thursday. On the main event not a peep. Edit - storm to my east so today i'm out!

quite cloudy here, looks more like dead cells rather than developing ones sadly

can see the outline of something, but if that's the closest cell that's a lonnngg way away

had some cloud bubble up then disappear WTS storm shield or give to a good home

yep stuff of dreams, a nightmare for storm lovers in Bedford.

yeah it seems like it favours the west more, seen that quite alot. No matter how many storms i get i still want to see more
