Hi all, Must say I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that I may have a chance of something thundery tomorrow, makes all the hot stickiness worth it. Been loving reading all about lightning in the above threads too. So eyes on the radar and up to the sky then tomorrow!

MetO said the 'thundery' word, but If we get anything rain like, I don't think it'll be stormy in nature, but we shall see. Lovely evening out there. Best part the day in the summer I think.

Another warm day for us tomorrow, still got me thunderstorm symbols, I think the weather owes me a evening storm! But TBH some nice cooling rain will do.

I switched from normal tea to de-caff, hardly drink coke or coffee now and If i don't have a bit of caffeine sets me right off with a bad head, even after a few years. Also got a summer cold on the way which doesn't help. But hey burning out side when I went to get little one, still got a bit of cloud, and a light breeze. Shouldn't complain really. Actually feels cooler now then this morning, but my breeze has come back and there is fair weather fluff in the sky. I think it's about 21oC out there. BUT...There is some lovely thundery symbols by my area for tomorrow late afternoon, so if it means the temps need to go up another few degrees then so be it.. (not a fan of hot weather, makes me sleepy, headachey and grumpy)

Morning all, Up too early to take little one for her school photo, and it's warm out there already. Poked my head out of my window at 7:40 and thought I felt a bit of a chilly breeze, *puts on thin knitwear item* and it's was baking at 8:50. Going to be a Hot one today and the cooling breeze we have had and moved my storms away has gone.

HI!My home town used to get snow, many happy winters on the downs, then it went snow-less for years..then one year happily told my now hubby that we don't get snow and we had half a foot and that was in later in the year as well!. Same with thunderstorms - loads when i was young -nothing- then the imports started and last one we had the drains couldn't cope and i almost had a flood in my bathroom. Roll on years later and i have noticed with great annoyance that where i live now, the storms look like they go out of their way not to hit, I don't think i've had a true direct hit yet.Take yesterday, cloud all around and a circle of brilliant sunshine. Where I used to work, amazing storms, but a phone call home and nothing but sun. Gah....

Bah humbug. That is all.

I'm in the country side and it's quite open, as well as near a golf course. Where I live isn't quite as windy as where the school is, that's like standing in a wind tunnel at times, freezing in winter!

I moved to beds seven years ago from the southeast coast( which got snow when i moved) and we had snow every year apart from nothing at all last winter. I'm still getting over that and now i have my lack of big storms now. Beautiful day out there, very windy but warm. Where does this wind come from? By the sea i understand but it always windy here!

just re-opened by bedroom window and guess what I heard? wait for it... Thunder! I don't think it will hit me straight on but as they say on ghostbusters 'we got one!'

Got a nice cell heading my way, wind getting up so closed all my windows ..hoping.But.,, No thunder. The radar shows nil points for strikes from it, but a lovely thing to watch.(not as amazing as that german storm, stuff of dreams that)

Thought at one point I might of actually been lucky and gotten something. But no. oh well the summer is young.

Yep the Web cam in Germany stops for me too. Just said to hubby, surely it's not that dark there yet, then I realized just how bad that storm must be .CRAZY. Only experienced dark as night storms once on the coast, It was so dark the street lights came on and it made the news on local telly. I wish the weather would make it's mind up here. *sigh*.

Just been looking outside and TBH if i'd had the clouds i have now earlier, I would of been doing the CanCan. When I went to collect little one, it was more or less wall to wall sunshine and now it looks the stormiest it has since we had some storms a few weeks back. Been eyeing up the cell for a bit in the channel but.. Shame Mr radar will say NO.

It's raining a bit more now and it lovely outside. The smell of summer rain is quite special, with or without thunder. If it does a mental up north that will be 'as per usual'

Yep we got some 'light-ish' rain and it's getting dark, but after the heat it a welcome break. I don't expect any thunder, although I've got a bit of a 'head; coming on. MetO pretty much thinks we are drying up,

Yeah I'm still here. Perfect BBQ weather. hardly any cloud, a breeze and warm. Oh well.

clouding over here, quite a strong breeze , feels warm and humid too. can see clouds building, but if anything heads my way is yet to be seen.

morning all, Up early with little one, so looking at these forums with interest. Some great looking convection outside already here! would post a pic, but both camera's in the house are missing and my phone has decided it needs a charge. Here's hoping my area get something. (not at 3pm please)

Just rushed out to get the washing off the line I put there earlier . Still, clear and cool outside. And the washing wasn't even dry
