    Nice dull start to the day at around 13c. Cloud came in around 6/7 ish last night.

    Actually got some thunder here. Noticed on the radar after the demise late this afternoon. Over the last hour showers building and expanding all over the south east now.

    Less wind feels stickier already hopefully sea breeze will pick up soon. A low below 10c is always good. Looks like we could miss any rain today.

    Zero chance of anything wet tonight I think. As a matter of interest will the colder waters of the channel and southern north sea kill off any drifting storms from the near continent for a few weeks still.

    Perfect afternoon. Hot in the sun, cool in the shade, nice cool fresh breeze. 16/17c More of the same please.

    Dont mean to be picky but the winds are now going to be coming from the east!!!!! Last week was from the north?? Funny enough they show it going more southerly come saturday and still give cloud and 19c. They do need to get these computer forecasts a little better lol..

    Well looking at the rather poor MO 7 day forecast it doesn't look like summer much. No higher than 20c plenty of cloud after tuesday, that's on the coast here. Nice easterly, hopefully keep all those horrible humid conditions to those that love it west of London.

    Poxy weather. Goes from one extreme to another. Bright dull bits and now 21c from 12c yesterday. You can feel the horrible humid feel and to be honest if this gets worse I will be doing a northerly dance lol... Hope the sea breeze picks up for the next few days.

    This may be a stupid question, aren't they always lol... When we talk about the CET What is the official definition As it seems that June could be below av up north and at times very warm down here, pos more than usual. Thanks kindly.

    I keep waiting for the rain to stop but it just keeps forming to the east of us. Looked like it would stop at 8am ish and it wont stop. Worst rain for a long time outside of thundery showers.

    Would have interesting in the middle of Jan with ingrained cold over Europe. However as we know we always say that and it never does happen. Oh well back to last weeks Express for my mega scorhcer bank holiday and hottest spring ever. Oh dam its summer tomorrow.

    Also looks like a dry tomorrow, which is what the net where sliding towards. In fact most of the rain forecast near us, over us over the last couple of days and including tomorrow has vanished

    Nothing wrong with today. Nice breeze but not a cold one, decent temps, nice day in all, much like yesterday, but yesterday had a colder wind. Be nice if rest of summer ended up like this.

    To be honest the over the top scare mongering that comes out of some papers not just every now and again needs to be roped in by laws. A forecast that goes wrong is how the weather is, but maybe the laws should fine the papers as opposed to the people writing the stupid forecasts. Stories like the hottest ever spring when spring finishes in 2 weeks or less is just mind blowing.

    Lol a very good article. However its a real shame that these "forecasters" dont brave the real world and not the one on a computer. To actually explain how they and why make these fairy tale forecasts and why they bother ( apart from likes and hits) and its a shame they cant be pulled, fined and imprisoned.
