    Tonights 18z Next Wednesday night looks very snowy and windy. And several days after. Anyone noticed the worried tone and seriousness in stavs video forecast .

    First the T162 chart nice easterly. Below is a picture of the last easterly on the second day of the easterly. Taken off my dash cam. This projection of the easterly at T162 is quite potent . And pictures below could become a scene across much of the country

    Lampost watch from around 4am in North Yorkshire if your up Then you might as well stay up for the 00z Radar is showing snow showers in the north East at present. They should reach North Yorkshire around 4am.

    The last Beast from the East in my neck of the woods 6ft snow drifts all roads blocked off for 7 days. Potential for another cracking easterly GFS seems frantic on the 18z. Nice ECM tonight lets hope that low coming of North America isn't going to affect this to much.

    I know what you mean. The only saving grace is the last 3 runs from GFS 18z 00z and the 06z been consistently showing some winteryness At T216 and beyond and thats a big if. There's more bullying and clicking in here at times than prison Ive been a member since early 2014 i don't think its that much of a friendly forum tbh. I have tried to delete my profile but i don't know how to.

    I dont know whether to laugh or be worried I like snow but i need to earn a living too. I honestly haven't seen anything like it. From T216 onwards. Gfs mistake or fact .

    I have been reading more about the SSW And what i didn't find out was . If there was a Greenland high Or a scandi high already in place would this be helped by the effects of the SSW Or wouldn't it make a different .

    Good morning all GFS from 00z to 06z seems more westerly based . I can understand the fustration with the models. Is it going to be mild westerly or cooler northerly.
