Here is a link to @radiohead post from model thread. Looks like we'll hang on to the cold in the North before it moves back across all of Ireland. Genuinely crazy charts there on the pub run. Imagine if it verified!
Really hope those fronts push in and stall later next week!

Some interesting thoughts from Met Eireann here...
Met Éireann on 'high alert' as snow expected next week
WWW.RTE.IEMet Éireann has said it is on "high alert" for the second half of next week, as significant snow is expected.- 3

Uh oh...pub run has burst a few bubbles over in the model thread. Its amazing how the IMBY bias works in terms of people dismissing runs that don't work to their area's advantage. @booferking and @radioheadcalling out a few home truths

A good few hours of moderate snow here but nothing to show for it. Close but no cigar.
Same as that BigLad, hours or heavy to moderate snow and just too warm to lay. Any word on precipitation rates overnight?

Definitely increasing in intensity here, flakes getting bigger as well. Grassy areas getting whiter.

Getting heavier here now and beginning to settle, very fine flakes though.
-
Coming down heavier now, still not sticking yet. Anyone any thoughts on the intensity of the precipitation as the day progresses. Appears to be a decay in intensity as it's heading north.
-
Its snowing here, nothing too heavy yet though!! Still in the lighter echos of radar but this looks to be coming much further North. Looking like Met Eireann called this one over Met UK.

Sorry @Rocheydub, couldn't resist!
Will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow morning, met.ie have the precipitation moving well into Ulster whereas the met UK have it struggling to reach Ulster.

Good looking output for next weekend for those of us on the east coast of the island. Wouldn't take many tweets to make it a country wide event.
Amazing the power of Twitter!

Hopefully it comes off!!

Temp rose to -0.1 an hour ago but has fallen back half a degree since. Will be touch and go with this front moving through as I'm just a couple of metres shy of the 200m mark.
On another note, does anyone have this wee weather station? Its got temp but not sure if it does dewpoint, accidentally dumped the manual!

Anybody care to sum up the models for coming week? Don't have the energy to trawl the model page!

Nice heavy band moving through Magherafelt area and appears to be drifting NE to SW, hoping it comes this way. Looks great just North of Belfast!
Disappointed in lack of photos ladies and gentlemen, come on?!!

Looks like Belfast going to get hammered in next half an hour or so, big shower just off the coast at the min.

Seeing twitter reports of Dublin snow...poor lad has probably fainted

UK met office have issued a yellow warning for all of NI on Saturday, looks pretty decent too, although they mention snow turning to rain in afternoon.
