    Mad set up on the GFS, have been watching this evolve via the Mod forum. Insane cold on the way after the weekend possibly. I honestly believe no one really knows what will actually happen, it is that crazy ?.

    Cold one today - still only 3c. Yesterdays snow hung about til about 9-10am. Not bad at all! Reckon forecast is still yet to be resolved and depending on location. This winter so far some of the best and most fun snow falls have been the ones not very well forecast or folks had low expectations of.

    Definitely more sanity in the regional threads. Lots of contradictions and nit picking at times on the MOD forum, stops making sense in the end!

    Sleet here just starting. Temps 5c tho. edit - picked up a bit and then stopping. Yay....?

    Dry and sunny here, 2c currently. Beeb app says should be 4c and meto say 2c. Also meto says snow later bbc says no.... big differences between the two. radar shows showers are not organised at the moment so nothing really to be expected, so anything falling is bonus! Good luck for later today!

    Light rain here, cold out about 2c. Apps showing snow/sleet for Sunday, Tuesday & Wednesday IMBY. Slightly more interesting week ahead.

    0c this morning and dry out. MO app for Leics/Warks has sleet tomorrow but guess will despond on actual temp v modelled and dew points. Also interesting week ahead for 'potential'

    Light snow in Derby (Spondon) right now. Nothing dramatic, no need for snowplough or mountain rescue just yet it is really trying...

    Snowing and leaving a dusting here last 15 minutes seems out of nowhere. Anyone else seeing the same?? more sleet then snow I think edit - about stopped now. Looking on radar patchy showers from North Sea heading over this way.

    Met office yellow warning for tomorrow for central midlands. Also noticed heavy snow forecast 12 onwards today. Can't see it being anything other than transient bursts. 4c currently, trended up last hour
