Do you see central mids in with a chance of snow? I think possibly early hours but cannot trust models (plus I don't know enough)

No false hope, it's just guess work and a bit of fun and really not to be taken seriously. In all honesty, i cannot see nothing happening later. Might be snow, sleet, snizzle or rain but looking at the radar and going roughly via models there is more likely to be some form of precipitation. My guess, no big snow fall for us in Central mids. Maybe light snow or sleet. Frosty start tomorrow a bit like this morning but not as cold.

GFS (yes yes I know!) 6am tomorrow via 12z Yeah right..... Still think could develop maybe..... Radar and window/lamposts best bet now.

Certainly is! What I think is worth remembering is what was vaguely modeled was for much much later in evening or early hours....if anything at all. Would not bet on it though!!

Well 6Z GFS had this for 3pm Not a million miles away This is for early hours So maybe early days still, need to see 12z etc.. (yes I know it's GFS.....)

Same here, on way back from Cov half 5 ish. Could not believe what I was seeing! Loads of congestion on some roads as well.....for rain!

Are you including Meto as well??? Similar forecasts of cold weather from there too... do not recall seeing any mention of settling or disruptive snow. Or winter wonderland, or narnia etc... It has been cold, some frosts too so not a million miles off and hardly 'lies' Not getting salty but some expectations based on a forecast based on probability around long term and seasonal models are a bit extreme TBH. As for Thursday, who knows.Still not resolved but chances be sleet/rain bit of snow and lots of complaining -

No point being too stressed or put out by the weather, it does what it does ? What I don't get is why some ar£& was driving 30mph on the M69 because of sleet/rain earlier?? Now that is over reaction

Still early to call Tuesday! Remember warning area boundaries get updates more often than not closer to time so could all change yet! (Including Burbage moving out of the warning zone ).

Any human generated forecast is going to be a lot more closer to reality than a weather app model output based thing, so looks good for West Midlands Really will be more nowcasting from Tuesday onwards, possible fun week ahead

Yep, got soaked at Walsgrave in Coventry an hour ago. Roads seemed to have sud like residue floating around. Was really just amazed to see rain! ️

Long time no post from me. Wowser thunder overnight and kicking off again here in Hinckley. Was not great driving a bit ago either. Lots of surface water ⛈
