Funny you should say that, I was just on the models thread and I believe some models are now going for a slider with snow.
Arpege I believe is going for this.
Looking like the pivot is starting to happen.
If you look at the radar out towards Cambridge you can see that part of the band progressing faster now then it is over the midlands.
Also look at Liverpool, the band is now starting to push south there.
Maybe 10-20 miles further north progression, then a stall then starts to slip away south east.

TBH that looks bang on for coventry and warwickshire.
The GFS has it slightly further north and east with the worst of it between Nottingham and Sheffield.
Still has 4-6cm for our area thought.
I always like to keep a eye on what the jet is doing. From T180 it is always south of the UK on the GFS with the odd incursion across South/central uk.
Do you remember the year when the whole country was covered in snow and on the satilite there was a 7 mile strip from nuneaton to coventry with no snow lol
I feel you pain, how many times do we see this in bedworth. I just drove through corley rocks and there is about 2cms there.
I think our position on the warwickshire plane with the ridge of hills curving round nuneaton and joining up with the ridge at Corley must do something to funnel the snow away from here.
Bedworth nothing, just had to drive to work, got 3 miles up the road to corley and it's a white out.
Always the same bedworth, nuneaton, coventry nothing
And just to the north of me by the looks of it, every time. On that radar image it's snowing both sides of me and missing here.
I remember seeing a satellite image of the UK a few years back with snow coving all the UK, except a triangle from coventryto hinkley and I was smack bang in the middle of it lol.
