    Sorry for my ignorance but I'm only just learning to read the models. On this image does it show high pressure building over to our NE. At the same time frame we have uppers of -4 over most of us. If the low coming across the Atlantic from the USA was to track to our south would this allow a cold shot from the north west?

    Just turned back to heavy snow here after an hour of rain washed most of the previous snow from the roads. Still a covering of sorts on the grass

    I think someone in the BBC just looked out the window lol. Been upgraded just now to heavy snow till 5am where it was showing rain 20 mins ago.

    Drove back from bedworth to nuneaton 15mins went from rain to heavy snow and settling on all surfaces here

    Sleet joining together now on the front edge of the front between the Welsh mountains to the peak district on the radar.

    Over in Pembrokeshire you have the preseli hills which I see on the radar it is snowing.

    Met office now showing rain to sleet to heavy snow back to rain. Well they are really covering their backs this time lol. I do remember a similar situation to this many years ago when they said it all as going to rain with a little sleet and snow and I woke up to 6in!!

    Watch the radar as the front comes over Wales. I think there will be More snow on the front edge then they think

    Just drove back from coleshill and it was really heavy covering the roads back up. Got to nunea ton and nothing lol.
