  1. Interesting that the weather for Wednesday has been updated showing a 2degree decrees for here down to 3degrees with initial rain then snow showers in the evening.
  2. I can't see it atm either BBC just updated Nuneaton and bedworth for heavy snow later??? And light snow all the way to 7am? Surely not.
  3. Does anyone else think the radar is now shifting more from a west to east pattern
  4. I think your right. It seems as the storm heads north and our current front heads south it seems the euro4 at least thinks it will add intensity. There is also a slight chance the storm tomorrow will head even further north and the Midlands could get hit again. Only very slight chance I think tho.
  5. Iv been downgraded to light snow from heavy snow later but you never know.
  6. Beat me to it lol. Do you really see this outcome tho. The radar in the last 20 minutes does seem to suggest more intensity as it pulls away south.
  7. Looks on the radar that it's dying out fast but the BBC and met office have heavy snow for a few hours yet. Ummmmm
  8. When you look at the snow map from 2010 there was a 10 mile wide strip by about 10 mile long area without any snow. There's a member on here from my neighbouring town of bedworth who I'm sure remembers it lol. This could be the first really big snow fall here for a long time.
  9. Light snow here. The heavier stuff is about 10 miles south on the radar. Hope it makes it.
  10. The only time Coventry gets snow is when it's not for cast. living in the Warwickshire plane must be the worst place in the country for snow. Even in 2010 it didn't snow here!!@
  11. Anywhere West of Leicester now seems to be into the less cold air. Currently raining here in Coventry.
  12. yep a slider low. Always looks like going too far east then pulls back West. seems to be heavier then predicted in the north
  13. I still think it will push in then will slide back south west slightly. So all that on the radar around Manchester will come over the Midlands.
  14. People talking about 7 days away. The modules haven't even got tonight's event right 5 hours out. Look how much further East the front has now got. It wasn't supposed to get past Leicester and now it looks like it will end up on the east coast the way it's tracking on the radar
  15. If you look at the forcast through the night the shift East should stop and then move south. Birmingham looks to be a dividing line with east of that getting snow
  16. Wind map seems prime for a Cheshire gap scenario later today. Might surprise a few people
  17. With the wind from the north I'd expect northern Ireland to get snow as well as the east coast of England. The northern Isles of Scotland. If it turns a little NW which some charts have it doing for a day or so then you get a Cheshire gap effect pushing snow showers inland. Also East of the pennines would be in the firing line. Where I am tho will miss it all as we always do. In 2010 on the snow map you'll see a 10 mile radius around cove with no snow. Must have been the only place in the country not to see any that year.
  18. Sums it up. East rain in feb. I just dont believe it.
