Everything posted by Day 10

  1. Yeah just had a look they range between -2 to -4 well into the night, -4 currently
  2. Bi t marginal near the coast then? Temp has remained steady here last few hours at 2.7, I thought it would has risen further by now but hasn't which is good.
  3. Interesting batch of showers developing over Northern Ireland now in a more NW wind, I wonder for later???
  4. TBH mate I am sick and tired of the way footy is now, the Premier League and their cronies at the top are destroying the game as we used to know it. I suppose the cup is a bit of relief from it to some extent.
  5. The 'snow starved south' that we constantly hear in that thread is a myth then!? Doesn't sound too snow starved to me, average is 1 in 5 years here and I know some other parts of our region certainly don't get anything like the above. I wish we where as snow starved as you, highest depth here 10cm's give or take.
  6. The next chase is already on the horizon lol, I need a break though after Thurs.
  7. Off to Goodison tonight, it's going to be bloody baltic sitting in them stands!
  8. The shorter term models certainly seem to be throwing out a bit more of a snow signal this afternoon for tomorrow. I make that, the Icon, Arome & Arpege so far along with the ECM this morning. GFS rolling now.
  9. Thanks mate. Even if we don't get anything else, I've been more than happy with this week.
  10. I'm going to see this cold spell through to Fri and then have a little break from it all, pretty tiring this model chasing lol. Back on it towards the end of the month as this Winter certainly does not look over by any stretch, as @cheshire snow has mentioned Feb and in to March look interesting. Some models still going for a few more flurries/showers in the next 24/48 hours, so one to keep an eye on before the dross of wind & rain returns for a time. HARMONIE ICON GFS
  11. Met still seeing something for Thurs. Outlook for Thursday to Saturday: Largely sunny and cold on Thursday with scattered snow flurries, these perhaps heavy and frequent later. Sunny spells and less cold on Friday, then wet, windy and milder on Saturday. Updated: 16:00 (UTC) on Tue 16 Jan 2024
