  1. Finally found the one I was thinking of. Something like the above is why I'm excited this time around. The current predicted setup isn't a million miles away.
  2. Yes, it's behind that second front when the snow line will continue to drop for everyone eventually. I really hope something like that fax transpires, a setup like that has become all too rare. We 'COULD' get clobbered, all of us.
  3. Lovely fax, looks at all those troughs. If we can get any kind of sustained flow then we are in business.
  4. Fully agree mate, I said similar the other day. As long as it's cold enough then the region will do well from such a setup, probably my fave setup.
  5. An improved GFS earlier on. It does seem to be one of those occasions where the models go awry mid-term, only to improve when they reach a shorter timescale, hence the upgrades.
  6. I can't see it being correct at all, it's way off the other models at the mo.
  7. HOT OFF THE PRESS JOE, THIS IS FOR NEXT WEEK!!! Make of that what you will.
  8. Chart of the Winter for me! As the system clears to leave heavy rain in Wales, the Wirral says stuff you and continues it's blizzard!
  9. I can't see it getting anywhere near that far north tbh honest, I'd rather have snow showers and troughs packing in from the north.
  10. Can you stop swearing now please Rain Lady!? By all means use the word snow but Spring & Snowdrops??? BLIZZARDS ICE SNOW WINDCHILL FROST POLAR LOW NORTHERLIES EASTERLIES SNOWMEN SLEDGING There, I feel better now
  11. Fair enough. But you and I have been on here long enough to know FI especially during a possible cold spell is Day 5 or even earlier. Just look how different Day 8 is between the ECM & GFS.
  12. Morning. Well, the date of the 15th has been touted now for some time and we still look bang on cue. The UKMO & ECM far better than the GFS this morning. GFS GFS loses the plot somewhat later on, pick the bones out of that! All in all, still plenty to look forward too. Pretty sure our own regional snow chances will pop up next week. I think I'll stay in here now for posting.
  13. Just use the ignore feature, makes a hell of a difference so the thread stays how it used to be = worth reading. EDIT: I see you already do lol.
  14. Standard for Eskimo's Standard is the default mild west to south westerly crap.
  15. In order of preference. GFS has the strongest block followed by the UKMO then ECM. Day 7
