It is mate, thanking the powers that be the temps have dropped, they were wearing this old man out rapidly..Hope the coming Winter isn't to bad for yourself, i know how its not your favourite time of year shall we say!

Doesn't make sense that mate, its a different season. First it hasn't been 12c this Summer, not great for those liking summer but not 12c. But surly if anybody doesn't like the heat in summer they will welcome cooler temps right? Its summer. But those temps in the season they prefer are not what they are looking for. Just the same for saying 12c in winter is great but 12c in the Summer is grot and horrible. Why the chuckle? Its exactly the same.

Thankfully this will be the last time i have to use A/C this year, 22c in bedroom......far to hot for sleeping, outlook is looking much better

Totally agree...i must be getting old, i seem to be agreeing with folk today!. Fingers crossed for a mellow, sunny, not to cold during the day Autumn this year, i know its been a tough Summer for those wanting the Heat and Sun

We all perceive the weather differently, Utter opposite to yourself, far happier, mood has gone, its like a weight has been lifted. I can actually function again. So interesting how the weather effects folk

Agree, so so much better, i actually feel alive and healthy, good to see talk of a 2nd heatwave is proving to be nonsense, its Autumn, a season some of us love. I do actually get that mate....first time i've agreed with you!?

I never never said that mate, i was just quoting the facts for the Heathrow station. A fact is a fact, i am a engineer, i base my views on facts, i'm not arguing anything, just pointing out the facts. I could go on and on how we haven't had a proper UK winter over 3months since 2009. But i don't.

Thats why i disagreed, that is one of if not the highest temp recording station in the UK. I was referring to the areas outside the M25 bubble. You can take 3 to 4c off those figures

No you don't understand, i was referring to the shallow nature of the light with the countryside turning, yes it is the best season for light, best light doesn't mean blazing sunshine

So ignore a season then? Varied weather, superb light levels, shallow mists, cool mornings, i could go on, each season is different, as a weather enthusiast i find it fantastic to see the change.

Sorry but UK autumn is not high teens to low twenties until mid October, thats like wishing for snow in mid April!!!
