Sorry mate but you seem to be totally misinterpreting the facts. Actual solid data. Again you used a non proved adjective....Likely. Against that is proven by backed up solid data. Sorry but here you are the one with a closed mindset, not having a go at all, just surprised someone like yourself can get so hoodwinked. Your concept would be a linear increase which it isn't, and also takes no account of the increases in the last 40 years. Time for you to open your mind mate to reality.

Thankfully the forecast next warmer spell is being watered down rapidly, we don't want that in October, its a Autumnal season, cooler temps, cooer nights coupled with fantastic light levels. That's Autumn.

It is a very sad indictment of our climate how warm this Autumn has been, its only going to get worse, much worse sadly. The days of a lovely Autumnal day are very few and far between, the only positive is that glorious sunrise as you commute to work, that so far outweighs summer mornings, there is no compare. For light the best season by far

Only a 7000btu model, would really struggle in hotter weather to cool any normal size bedroom. Need really to be looking at 12000btu and up. But thats when the price becomes a issue.

Fantastic Autumnal day, so useable, what's not to like!!. Jobs can be done, no sweating, no uncomfortable temps in the house....best season by far

Normally by this stage of the year i am shattered, for several years now ground down by hot summer weather. This year my health both mentally and physically has never been so good. Energy levels are higher than ever and now the cooler weather has started to become entrenched this Autumn is gearing up nicely.

Thats my point mate, its more the poor housing thats the issue, not the cold, certainly at 10c
