  1. Decent short Thunderstorm lasted around 30 mins, about 5 - 10 of really intense rain and loud, sometimes shotgun Thunder, and then the standard convective moderate/heavy rainfall after the main storm.
  2. OMG, how lucky can we possibly get in the Black Country, another Thunderstorm about to hit
  3. Yeah, saw the Met reshape/update there warnings many times and it certainly has, he has been correct many times with past events too including this period of thundery episodes.
  4. Just about in the Moderate Zone again from Dan's outlook and in many in the warning zone from the Met Office.
  5. So the biggest best/worst thunderstorm ive ever witnessed, first watching it approach from the S/SE, was strange because the low cloud was moving west to east so opposite to the way storms have been moving the last couple of days i think it was the updraught into the gust front/wall cloud, once that went through all hell broke loose, insane wind gust blowing a bin down the street, very intense rain with a good hail core too with pea sized hail which also lasted a good while, Thunder was constant and lightning was flickering every couple of seconds. Flooded everywhere around here and our garden was a pool. It was mm's from going into the house and nothing even close has ever happened like that before, so it was easily the worst storm we've had here, was spending a while trying to unblock the garden drains and the road one as the water was almost knee deep on the road and above the ankle deep in the garden. All pics are below, sorry for the bad quality of the pics, but also attached a video of the rain. hail and flood in the side walkway. 104481377_2687621888229980_8068107980853835535_n.mp4

  7. Does anyone know if this is a funnel, ive attached the original and one where ive drawn the outline?
  8. Looked very promising, but the storms stayed just to the south of here, but saw 2 bolts and heard several rumbles, this was the view but all we got is a moderate shower.
  9. Looks like the new shortwave is activating now. Also a view to the South towards all this.
  10. Little beefy shower near Birmingham went from nothing to this in 10 minutes.
  11. Afternoon all Large cumulus going up all over the place here, in all directions, much larger compared to this time yesterday.
  12. I get you and yeah literally seemed only a few miles away, didnt hear the thunder though so shows how far it actually was despite the brightness
  13. Haha i think i know what flash your talking about, that seemed pretty powerful and bright even from the distance lol, didn't hear any Thunder though.
  14. Don't think it will come this way tbh, but the curve on the back edge might give a little something perhaps if it manages to continue to develop but i agree still pretty nice watching it in the distance.
  15. A beauty of a view of the Cumulonimbus over the NW Midlands around 30 mins ago.
  16. Arome was pretty much spot on regarding tonight. Definitely a model to watch over the next couple of days at least.
  17. Like others have said the storm in the East Midlands is looks nice too, dunno whether to get excited or not lol
  18. Amazing storm near Manchester This is the cell/cells that have been developing over Wolverhampton, pic dont show just how dark it is. Heard a few rumbles from it a while ago.
  19. Will we have to see, ive saw a couple things saying storms for the Midlands tonight but anytime from 7pm till 3am lol, so we will have to see and keep checking the radar/lightning. The cells around Milton Keynes are heading up this way slowly so the forecast might be relating to those.
