  1. Just had a flash of lightning and a deep rumble North of here, not showing on Blizortung.
  2. Popping off in North East Wales and Lincoln? And near Guildford and Godalming southwest of London.
  3. I say its 50/50 for Thursday's possible event, there's been many marginal events that has been on the right side and has given a dumping to areas. With it being in the coldest part of the day over the Midlands particularly, wouldn't that be a factor of whether its rain/sleet or just snow? Also the 12z GFS looks a little colder on the northern edge of that system, may make more of it snowfall instead of Sleet/Rain but still mostly rain for the most part say from stafford/stoke south, but even areas south of that may get some very back edge stuff as it moves south and east with the cold coming south with it, but its still all up for grabs.
  4. Eerie mammatus clouds passing here now in front of that showery band, hopefully most of us will see at least something wintry out of it. Was sleety with this mornings showers but mostly just rain so hopefully that starts to change now with Temps and DPs dropping. Photo doesn't really do it justice.
  5. Flooding at Walsall Arboretum, only saw it once before in 2007 and this time is worse.
  6. Yeah i just saw those, i will post mine below, from a different area near the other side of the lake.
  7. Walsall Arboretum was inundated yesterday saw it once before in 2007 but this looked a lot worse, I will post some pics of it later.
  8. Hope you all stay safe in Wales especially in and around the red warning, could be a few hours until the peak from the run off from hills and looking like another pulse is on the way from the southwest and somewhat of another squall line further north ⚠⚠⚠
  9. Here's the 2 pics of the leaning tree of storm Ciara, which finally fell perfectly in a garden without any damage at all (luckily) an hour after the squall passed.
  10. The squall just came through here and wow thought it was a hurricane, some of the best/worst weather I've seen probably since the May 2018 thunderstorms. Damage to sheds and a tree is almost down after the squall, tried to upload pics and vids but it won't let me choose the file type to upload them, any ideas?
  11. Definitely, we'll all just have to keep an eye on the radar, outdoors and if at night the lampost
  12. Someone has already posted this webcam but been watching it for a while now are the waves are getting bigger and are crashing against the pier and lighthouse - Porthcawl Pier Live Streaming HD Webcam, Wales WWW.WEBCAMTAXI.COM This live webcam stream shows Porthcawl Pier and the Bristol Channel, located in the south coast of Wales Here are some snaps i took -
  13. It does seem that way, but a cold front has to pass south through the country at some point for the cold air to come behind it as its quite mild air today even though it doesn't feel like it in the wind.
  14. Oh wow, strongest gust yet, had to be 60mph. Most of the country is under Heavy Rain except the South for now, but that will change.
  15. Ciara is one wild girl already, gusting almost 50mph and still some hours to go before peak, things banging and branches sound like they are snapping off the trees, biggest since Doris so far.
  16. Yep, that's what has happened especially the last few years, but one year we have to hit that January Jackpot surely
  17. It certainly does, lets hope for a good one. Another 2017/18 type winter would be nice but with a BFTE in January instead of Late Feb/Early March.
  18. Who's looking forward to seeing this sort of forecast hopefully this winter
