  1. What did you mean by a whole different ball game for Saturday afternoon, in terms of what, could u clarify a bit please :)?
  2. View overhead at the moment, but not doing anything yet, but more dark following it. Edit - Just started rain big drops,
  3. Good to see you back and posting those sort of cam snaps again But can see that south of me here in Walsall too but missing out by a couple of miles..
  4. Wonder if any of those showers west of London will pep up, if so we could be in for something tonight as they seem to be going in a NNW direction.
  5. Hopefully . Sky changing here, some cumulus building, feeling more muggy.
  6. Was sunny and warm here about an hour ago, with these unstable skies, but now cloud has covered the sky, dunno whether that's a good thing or bad thing.
  7. Sorry mods, can remove if it doesn't belong here, but has anyone got a link to a model/charts what show cloud cover for tomorrow?
  8. Thought I heard a rumble to the south, then looked at the radar and saw that over the Birmingham area.
  9. Some beefy looking storms with lightning near the channel islands.
  10. The BBC extended forecast did say into next weekend its turning colder, so there is a slim chance it may happen as some of the models are pointing to a similar pattern as some other posters have pointed out.
  11. Almost pitch black sky to the east now the suns out, after a heavy hail, graupel shower.
  12. Even though tempretures are above freezing, the lower DPs are making their way to us now, turning some showers wintry
  13. As others have started some possible snow showers over high ground tomorrow even in the south and wintry showers widely at lower levels, some accumulations may be possible. Snowy surprises maybe????
  14. Bits of debris from the chimney in our garden, and 2 trees down up the road with 1 fell on a house!!
  15. Also possibility of some wintry showers coming down from the chesire gap after Doris tomorrow night, with -5 850s crossing the country, but before that hopefully there wont be much damage and everyone stays safe.
  16. Can see how heavy the snow is going to be up north, no surprise at all there's a warning for it, some parts will look like a winter wonderland for a time at least.
  17. Can see this bringing widespread disruption with quite a bit of damage especially around the West Midlands conurbation, I remember think it was storm barney bringing severe gales to the midlands a couple of years back and causing damage to a shopping centre in Birmingham, if these winds do verify which is highly likely, can see it being worse like I said, quite a bit of damage.
  18. GFS certainly brings spring like conditions early next week but what happens thereafter is still up for grabs, not expecting any real cold, like most said probably just a toppler like shown on the model. As for the SSW forecast for the end of the month, I can see it turning out to be a repeat of last year, With a chilly mid/late march.
  19. I agree certainly overnight, and snow showers always have there own mind.
  20. It is loosing intensity as its approaching us, but there looks to be quite abit also some slightly darker echo's on the radar (only some), and add on that the temperature are starting the fall as the sun is about to go down, we may get a dusting at least to some of us, IMO.
  21. Hopefully we will see atleast a dusting with this lot, soon will see anyway
  22. Looks like another area of light snow is moving in from the Wash area, moving slightly more north than the last area over more of the central midlands and north midlands possibly..
  23. Coldest since 2013 for certain, but not a lot of snow at all, like most here, just a few flakes blowing in the wind, had a lot more snow In the cold shot back in Mid Jan, hopefully we can get atleast a slight covering or dusting tonight or tomorrow but maybe that's asking to much with this cold spell, but time will tell as everything is nowcasting pretty much.
