Just got a feeling that the band of precipitation that is forecast to cross our region Saturday Night, could produce some wet snow.

Hi WalsallWeather, I'm in Walsall too, hopefully we get more out of this, looking like quite a bit coming, obviously if it don't weaken like you said

A light dusting on everything from earlier snow showers, looking really nice in the moon light

Snowing in Walsall now, also looking good around north Wales and around the Cheshire gap, with showers looking like they are forming.

Moderate rain in Walsall, at the moment, temp have noticeably fallen from this morning.

Some models have been showing this so yeah it certainly is possible, hopefully we get lucky, as these usually bring a good cover to us black country folks and other part of the MIdlands too , but lets not worry too much as the latest run is giving us more snow chances

I have a sneaky feeling, that us in parts of the Midlands could get more snow showers than they are currently forecasting, as the winds are pretty strong so get blown in easier also without them loosing much intensity.

That's incorrect as a lot of the winter of 2009/10 was white country wide and again in late Nov/Dec 2010. -

Unfortunately yes but fog is still quite wintry to see but not when its mild, it will feel so strange I expect.

Yep running late this year, we've only got to A, but if the GFS verifies, we may be talking Barbara, C and possibly D names
