  1. A cold clear start to the day. Temp 9.6C Barometer 1019mb Rising Wind Calm Rainfall Nil
  2. Sun finally came out just before midday now pleasant and warm some limited tower building going on. Temp 22.2C Barometer 1020mb falling Wind F2 NNE rainfall Nil
  3. A disappointing dull misty start to the day. Temp 14.8C Barometer 1021 Steady Wind F2 NE Rainfall NIl
  4. A cloudy breezy day but still warm despite the breeze. Some overnight light rain which lasted into the early hours. Temp 20.3C Barometer 1016mb rising Wind F3 NNE Rainfall 1.6mm
  5. After some mid-morning light rain a dry day with some sunny spells later on. Looks likely a damp evening maybe ahead but over all a better day than forecast. Max temp 18.8C Barometer 1012mb steady Wind F3 NW Rainfall 8mm
  6. I'm probably going fuddy duddy anyway. Local met office forecast has a bright morning for us. So right from tenish and the afternoon with light rain from 16:00.
  7. Continuing on fairly dry theme for the month overall. Last night was the exception adding 14.1mm to the total bringing it up to 37.7mm for the month 57% of normal.
  8. Bit of a whoops of a forecast so far today. Bang on last night though. Perhaps a bit of sunshine will get things moving again. Otherwise radar wise everything fizzling quietly out right now. Today's warning at present is looking a bit silly time will tell if it's right.
  9. Ah well once again a better day than forecast. A little light rain between nine and ten and now brightening up with the sun trying to come out. Max temp so far 16.6C Barometer 1012mb falling Wind F2 N Rainfall 8mm
  10. Maybe some stuff brewing round us. I want some heavy rain so I can was the car and not have to rinse it off. Would be nice if the Met Office updated the warnings the present one is getting a bit old now.
  11. Just measured the rain and the Davis over did it as it normal does with heavy rain. Total 14.1mm. Still a dry month though.
  12. A weak Thunderstorm last night around midnight. Looking at the posts suggests the Sheffield Shield was down for maintenance. I wondered if the cell had sneaked in and then developed within the shield. There was an earlier distant rumble earlier as well before midnight. Interesting the once the lightning started the rain which was heavy eased off eventually stopping the lightning and Thunder moving off sometime after the rain had ceased.
  13. Cloudy warm start but dry after a weak overnight Thunderstorm Temp 15.5C Barometer 1011mb falling Wind F1 NNE Rainfall since midnight 8mm Total overnight according to Davis 14.8mm
  14. Light rain falling smells nice with the nitrogen release though.
  15. Finally caught up on a later forecast. Much less excited although it did mention activity over the north east of the UK and guess what we've got. It also mentioned the word "uncertain." So Midday forecast is right for the north east anyway. However nothing much may happen elsewhere or maybe it could. Time will tell. The red marking on the map posted on here earlier is wrong. The Sheffield shield is in it so it needs a small hole marking out with the marker. "Nothing will happen in this spot".
  16. Warm and humid with overcast skies. Still dry though. Max Temp 23.8C Barometer 1013mb Wind F2 Rainfall Nil
  17. The problem of the new weather extra radar scales. Looks a lot worse than it is. Generally fairly quiet looking at the old scales. Nothing remarkable. One or two more lively areas of South West England Wales but over all a weak front at the moment pushing east. Warning valid here from 16:00 for us. Looking very unlikely. Anybody found anything to back up the earlier rather exited forecasts?
  18. So it's look the met have seen somethign that isn't there. Oh dear.
  19. A warm humid day so far. Becoming mostly cloudy now though Max temp so far 23.8C
  20. Well there will be zippo here as normal. Serious head back on. Beeb mentioned an upper layer of cool air allowing the storms to kick off. Im going blind though can't see it on the charts.
  21. A mild start to day with mist patches and broken cloud Temp 15.4C Barometer 1015mb falling Wind Calm Rainfall nil
  22. A better day than forecast once again which I'm glad off. Washing dry I decided to risk putting it out. Anyway a warm dry day with Sunny Spells once more. Max temp 24.4C Barometer 1017mb falling Wind F2 SSW Rainfall Nil
  23. A mild start to day with patchy Cloud Temp 13.8C Barometer 1019mb falling Wind F1 SW Rainfall NIl
  24. Cloud soon built after the clear start and the day was off sunny spells. Feeling warm. Max temp 22.1C barometer 1020mb falling Wind f3 SW rainfall Nil
  25. A mostly clear start with a light breeze Temp 13C Barometer 1022mb falling Wind F2 SSW Rainfall Nil
