    Thunderstorm just passed to the west of me. Hopefully I may get something later.

    One of those raining moderately one side of the house and not the other side. Strange it's the east side getting the rain while west facing the storm is having odd spots.

    Distant Thunder passing to the West of me. Clear to the South though so still going to draw a blank. Nope the far side of Sheffield having a small Thundery shower. Can just hear the Thunder.

    Well I know nothing will happen here. At least what does come over is dying away and not building back up once more as soon as it passes. That's really frustrating.

    Okay temps peaked at 24.7C according to the Davis. Some Thundery showers approaching the area have been heavily battered by the Sheffield shield leaving just light showers and the odd rainbow. Barometer 1005mb falling Wind F3 SSW Rainfall 0.2mm

    I would have thought you would have read on the high side. Perhaps the sensor is on it's last legs. That reminds me I've got to replace my soil moisture sensor.

    I would if I could. This time it was shredded so badly the sun didn't even go in. A bit of rain to dampen the pavement that was it. Another one being shredded now.

    A much more pleasant day. Very warm but bearable. Odd spot of rain this morning but bean nice since then. Even the highly inaccurate car thermometer got close to the actual temp for once. Max temp so far 24.6C Barometer 1005mb rising Wind F3 SSW Rainfall trace

    July came in just above average at 63.4mm taking the yearly total to 381.2 mm

    A unpleasant evening still. The temp sat at 26.1C with a warm breeze just blowing the warm air around. Going to be an unpleasant night to sleep in as well.

    Roll on Saturday and Sunday and back to pleasant summer weather. Think I'll move to Hedon in summer.

    Hit 30C plus hear hottest day since 25th July 2006. Very unpleasant outside and far too hot. Twas a pleasant day this morning as well.
