    Have to ask this, i thought it was good that the Azores high was blocking over N Atlantic but it isn't? (for cold) so the cold air can flow down from the Arctic without any disturbences from Low pressures over N Atlantic?

    I like that chart, Snow coming back to South sweden again and London may see first snow this Winter, and both GFS and ECMWF shows more meridional flow from 12th February and after

    Looks like the minor stratospheric warming we are having now has no real effect on the troposphere and the positive NAO and AO, and still we have abnormally low pressure over N atlantic without reasons Has it been even snow laying on the ground a whole day in London this winter? I haven't seen anything when looking at webcams etc

    Last Winter was worse than this, really Cold air is now over most Scandianvia for the last 2 weeks and temperature drops even in central Europe I might be wrong, but temperatures around 6-9 celcius is normal over South UK in Jan?

    Is there any chance of a major Stratosperic warming the upcoming 2 weeks, which can lead to HT blockage over Barents sea with extremly cold northerly winds over most of Scandinavia ( and eventually GB later) ? I ask this since i have a hard time understanding the 10hpa temperature maps, vortex split effects and so on
