    Setting up for uk hp..on the gfs looks like..heights building too close to the uk!

    Stronger heights around scandi..and some ridging into the arctic!...the low also seems to be splitting into two..could get heights building behind the first..if it does happen

    If icon is anything to go by...we are in for a rough afternoon..the cold held way out east!ended up like the 6z gfs..awful!

    Well that percentage being the absolute max..I'm talking a nationwide cold spell 4/5 days with temps 2-4c!..yes I agree the models have been all over the place..we have learnt not too trust even the best models at 4/5 day range!! It's the same old story..getting pushed back further and further!I will give it too day 7/8 see what happens..it's looking like this run wants to push all the cold north!dire..it's an absolute horror show by 228! 14/15c in South!

    A few have mentioned it..but apart from a few cold op runs..the ens across the major models..have never really fancied something cold!

    Ecm watered down this morning...gem isn't having any of it,and the ukmo not quite so good!it's going to be one he'll of a struggle to get a decent nationwide cold spell..from now on!..this chart somes up the uk weather..quite often close but rarely the full show!..I think the most likely option is a few colder days 5/6c..but a cold and snowy spell..I would give only 10/20% chance

    I agree with all that your saying facts..hasn't there also been times when it snowed in april..though I would think,it would be very hard for it too settle at that point

    I think so nick..I just remember a few weeks back..the best two performing models got it very wrong!

    Ukmo does turn a bit messy by day 7..but looking very interesting here..!that hp is in the absolute perfect position!

    Not too long for the 12z runs..icon first out,hopefully a continuation of its 6z run..it was showing a clean easterly at 120!

    Well it didn't turn out good...ecm is the one we want,snow on that chart by day 10
