    So close to something decent on the icon!..Very frustrating at 168..that cold air just over the north sea!

    The period day 6 into 7..still looks interesting and we could improve a lot more!..problem is as the high builds in..over the uk or slightly too the east it pushes the cold away over scandi!ideally we want a build of heights to the West of uk!

    6z looking good at 156!.ended up really flat again..no progression north with the high..cold over Scandi nowhere to be seen!

    You have feeling for something colder?..it was something of a outlier towards the very end..but there's hardly a cold clustering now..the mean is pretty awful!

    And there we are day 10 on the ecm..were the mildest part in europe..you couldn't make it up!
