My station in the garden is in the shade and away from buildings and is reading 30C! Even last year it only hit 30 about 5 times, mostly in June. -

Produced 2 interesting days here which is a bit disappointing. Drifts on some country roads were cool to see. I didn’t ever feel that cold, we didn’t get much wind so apart from a few hours on Thursday it was not bad being outside. -

Not much here. Very patchy, couple of cm where the sun hasn’t shone, very patchy everywhere else. More noticeable is the daytime cold and black ice in villages. First ice day since I got my weather station 3 years ago. -

We had a heavy snow shower at about 1:30 but 5 mins later there was blue sky. No accumulations on my short drive home from North Bucks to North Beds. -
Crazy snow here. Can almost see some of it through the short grass!

The BBC have me down as zero snow until Friday! -
3.1C and rising here. Unprecedented cold. My children will hear about this one day.

He said they didn't even get today's temp correct. Why would they get tomorrows?
-
The cold forecast for my location is comparable to cold snaps over the last few years so unless a dumping of snow makes it this far inland it's looking like a predictable non event for me.
-
Reality is going to smack hard in here soon. BBC and Meto aren’t even forecasting a top 3 coldest day of winter so far during the “bitterly” cold weekend and beginning of next week.

What happened to the cold? I’ve had colder nights in late April than I have had the last 2 nights. Didn’t even have to scrape the car. -
It sucks but you get used to it, like being fat really.
