Weirdly mild here, 20.1°C up from a max of 19 all day. Wind picking up now after a still day. -
Nothing but a bit of light drizzle here so far today (bar one brief downpour) Was wondering where it had got too!

Wow, where did this wind come from?? Went from silent to howling in a split second! Very light rain and distant flashes and rumbles way south west of me.

Just hit 27.1°C here, not a cloud in the sky. I'm absolutely loving it, wish it could last for weeks especially after the miserable summer we've had! Looking good til possibly monday so make the most of it!

14.1°C today... Wet and chilly, not impressed but looking really good for a dry and much warmer spell finally.

Here we go again.....floor shaking thunder!

Very lively here now, frequent lightening and lots of thunder, just had a very close "split the sky' type of boom. Teeming down too, big splodges and very humid. Temp 22.4°C So dark indoors need the lights on ( but of course I haven't as better to see the lightening! Haven't seen the radar with so much activity for a loooong time.

Torrential rain now and thunder/lightening much closer. The lightening radar showing a lot of activity in the channel and making landfall on South coast

Distant rumbles to the south, 20.8°C and still very muggy despite the rain. My head pressure tells me we're going to get it......

Absolutely awful "summers" day! Nowhere near as bad as forecast and certainly no need for the weather warning here but yuk all the same! And cold......

Barely any rain here today despite radar showing big blue area over me most of the day! Wind really picked up this afternoon and still blowing now. Tomorrow's wind could be erm, interesting (and a little worrying if it reaches the gusts forecast)

Any hopes of a storm tonight? The mugginess has got worse and temps went from 23 to 20°C after the rain but now up to 26°C!!

Wow! Absolutely torrential now! Temp dropped to 17.4°C Thunder/lightening very close now. Weirdly met office map not showing anything close to me but radar spot on.

Been rumbling to my South for a while and then sudden strong wind and rain from out of nowhere! Thunder getting closer and louder now and heavy ish rain, the garden will be so happy! Thunder seems almost constant now, lots of flashes. 19.1°C

Cloudy and a few spots of rain here....need so much more! 20.6°C and feeling quite muggy.

Big rumble here, skies black heading this way and TV keeps cutting out... Worried for the grass seed I laid yesterday, at this rate it'll all be washed away lol

Had a 10 min snow shower today when driving from crowborough to herstmonceux. Thought it would turn to rain as I left the elevation of crowborough but it didn't! So what are everyone's thoughts for snow Chances here during early march?

I've just moved and now at 55m asl so not expecting anything but sleet but ever hopeful! Fingers crossed we get to see some settling snow in our region....Good luck guys!
