Been snowing lightly for the last half an hour here. Bonus! Have lit the woodburner and got a pot of soup on the go. Just decorated the christmas tree. Loving having a snow day home with the husband. Just off for a walk

Just taken us over 4 hours to drive from Bodle street to Mayfield (usually takes 25 mins) Absolute chaos on the roads, cars abandoned all over the place! Finally had to abandon ours about a mile from home and walked the rest (in suede boots yuk!)

Snowing heavily at Bodle Street now (my parents) grass and Lane covered. Driving home could be interesting... Looking at the radar my concern is that there doesn't seem much more incoming from the channel?

Stunning morning here, everything white and beautiful soft pastel colours in the sky. Currently -3°c. Looking at the models I think any precip falling as snow is going to miss me GFS Wednesday looks exciting lol

What are the chances of that lot out in the channel making it inland? Have been keeping an eye on the radar since 4pm and it just seems to be flirting with the south coast!

Stunning old school Frosty sunny morning today. Interesting little feature on GFS for us on Sunday (similar ukv and icon) Fingers crossed! Would be a dream scenario with these temps, ground temperature low and any snow likely to settle for a while!

Just had the most AMAZING experience....have to share it with you guys as think you'll understand my excitement! I just drove through the end of a rainbow!!! As I drove down the lane I could see it just ahead of me hitting the road. As I passed through it I could see different colours dancing in the air all around me and on my dashboard. Really the most phenomenal experience! (my husband was in the passenger seat and saw it too so I know I'm not going crazy lol)

Why am I getting long empty spaces every time i try to post?? Can't seem to correct it! A beautiful day here today but temps starting to drop now.

Just had a big gust that toppled the wheelie bins and sent my pot of mint flying! I've been keeping an eye on the radar today and it seems like that lot heading our way is fragmenting and weakening as it gets closer to us. Why the heck have I got such a long empty space in my above post?? Can't seem to correct it!
