  1. I am sure there are loads and there should be some amazing footage
  2. South Dakota a speedy drive put us next to this LP supercell she was real pretty The updraft was still piling in although the life of this supercell was to end at sunset Within minutes of the sun going down all that was left of this sometimes beautiful creation of nature was a pile of swirling clouds. Even with my limited photographic skills I managed to catch her in her finery. Tom
  3. Broken Bow Nebraska Earlier that storm with our car Twas a lovely LP supercell Nature carved this out of moisture as would a 'Wood turner' carve a bowl from hardwood Tom
  4. From Smith Centre Day another tornado bagged today That's all for now folks
  5. Well done Paul, Dave and Ian. A fitting end to what has been a somewhat eventful session of tours. I guess Paul is looking to get home and sleep for a week. Tom
  6. On saying that dave I can see the rotation on the stream Tom
  7. Oh you are such a drama queen Dave
  8. Good luck team , we are all following you closely Tom
  9. It was nice to have a day where the storms moved so slowly we could have chased on foot. It became know as the four state storm because it initiated in Colorado and we crossed through and interlaced the state lines of Texas, new Mexico and Oklahoma, at times stood with a foot in each state. We enjoyed this day Tom
  10. Last chase day? Knowing Paul,I imagine so. I am not sure what time they fly home on the 23rd. It does look like there is still potential to catch a tornado within driving distance of Denver N-CNTRL HIGH PLAINS INTO THE UPPER MS VALLEY/UPPER MIDWEST... AN MCS WILL BE ONGOING AT THE BEGINNING OF THE FORECAST PERIOD FROM PORTIONS OF ERN NEB INTO MN AND WI...AND MAY POSE A MARGINAL SEVERE WEATHER THREAT DURING PART OF THE MORNING. FOCUS WILL THEN TURN TO AN UPSLOPE FLOW REGIME OVER THE N-CNTRL HIGH PLAINS. LOW-LEVEL CONVERGENCE IS FORECAST TO STRENGTHEN BY EARLY TO MID AFTERNOON FROM ERN WY INTO NERN CO AS A MIDLEVEL SHORTWAVE TROUGH EJECTS EWD TOWARD THE REGION. DEWPOINTS IN THE 50S APPEAR PROBABLE OVER ERN WY...WRN NEB...AND WRN SD...AND WILL AID IN MODERATE INSTABILITY AS THE BOUNDARY LAYER DESTABILIZES. INITIAL STORMS WILL LIKELY BE SUPERCELLS GIVEN THE PRESENCE OF LOW-LEVEL ELY WINDS SURMOUNTED BY 40 KT MID/UPPER-LEVEL SWLYS. THESE STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LARGE/VERY LARGE HAIL AND A COUPLE OF TORNADOES. After which I suspect an MCS is possible Watch this space. Tom
  11. Yes Dave I saw that boundary looks interesting Tom
  12. I am sure that I have seen that road before , but at a slightly higher speed than you are doing. Tom
