Wind direction looks to have changed slightly, bringing the Medway towns more into play for flurries; one passed through just now - not amounting to much, but continuing the wintry feel, so nice to see

Magical moment - you can no longer tell the division between the road & footpath! Very heavy snow continuing. About 5cm now. Poor visibility.

Very heavy snow now; good covering 3-4cm and continuing to build fast. I think some of the schools in this area made a mistake opening today...

Some very beefy showers just coming into view now; looks like many of us currently experiencing a bit of a lull will be back in business soon!

As annoying as the stop start thing is, I must say I have been very impressed with the intensitiy of these showers and the size of the flakes; we've had some very heavy bursts so far. Looks like a brief lull in the stream of showers at the moment, but lots more building...and of course the Amber warning hasn't even started yet! It's well and truly game on! Edit - Forgot to say, in terms of depth I'd say we have close to 2cm at the moment.

Seems to be a bit of a lull in the showers now; clouds breaking up. Anyone know why there aren't any more showers following on behind the ones just gone? I'm in Medway.
