    Lucky you! Not sure where in Medway you are, but still as anything in this part of Rochester and practically all of the snow has melted from earier rain !

    Just grey nothingness here - had very light dusting earlier though. Come on, pivot, PIVOT! So frustrating watching all the snow just a tad to the north of me all morning! Edit - I don't get why I've been under light snow on the radar for a few hours now, yet nothing has fallen since around 8?

    To think that the max for Rochester was showing as 7C only yesterday, now 4C and that's just for two hours 7-8am, thereafter 1 - 2C all day with mainly sleet & snow. Trying not to get too excited but can't wait to start lamp-post watching, and hope I haven't jinxed it now lol!

    Maximum temperature for me for tomorrow has dropped from 7C yesterday to 6C this morning to now 5C, and that's just for a few hours before falling again - and wait for it - I now have sleet symbols! @throwoff don't give up hope yet: our area could still get something! Edit - Actually one hour of snow too!

    Dew point now at - 1c according to wunderground.com. 'The Weather Channel' have me under snow from 4:15pm to 10pm (then a wintry mix after that) and I've found them to be fairly accurate of late, more so than the BBC, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see! Whether it sticks or not is another matter...

    Is that big wall of precip moving in off the north sea what will be supplying this evenings precip? Are conditions more conuducive to snow settling this evening do we think?

    Yep, it does here in Rochester too. Looking at the radar the darker patch is coming our way in the next half an hour or so! Fingers crossed!

    Really surprised with the SE forecast, it was quite a ramp! Repeatedly emphasised were the words 'up to 5cm' hmm, I'm a bit dubious about that at the moment to say the least. Re the 'Belguim blob' is that going to intensify as it crosses the channel at all?
