  1. Everyone please note: bandwidth is not infinite; silly posts of one word + a smiley are not ideal...at least when they're more frequent than snow drifts...
  2. Maybe you have a point, NN...But all folks see things differently...Perhaps you should 'agree to disagree'?
  3. Even something on the scale of the Deccan Traps would be rather hard to miss!
  4. Indeed, forecaster, 'energy' is not an immediately obvious concept...Unless it's supposed to men the potential for doing work?
  5. Welcome aboard, ARNOTT...Please can you pop your location into your profile?

  8. i was going to suggest you do that, but LGF sort of beat me too it. I hope you like sugar beet!
  9. Please, once and for all, cut out the snide comments? Including the 'clever' ones...
  10. So far, no heating at all...better an extra jumper than a fortune to the energy racketeers?
  11. Eeh, yer spawny-eyed parrot-faced wazzock, ye are! Born in't shoe-box, ah were!
  12. When ah were a lud, we made do with heavy-duty dustbin bags...
  13. Buggered if I know why! All I know is that waking-up to a level-foot of snow is like nothing else. It's one of Nature's wonders...
  14. Indeed Ian...We are in danger of losing touch with reality, here? A couple of days' sleet/wet snow in November is hardly that uncommon...
  15. Aye, I think a cold snap is all but guaranteed. So, what happens next?
  16. Its a good article, Malcolm, though I'm not sure how it relates to AGW. Then again, I can see how it might.
