  1. Well maybe readers shouldn't be so casual, then? You cannot legislate for idiots!
  2. I don't know! We've seen more thundery activity than the past two-years...It's been cold, it's been hot, it's been dry and it's been wet. What more can one ask of a UK summer?
  3. Now it's my turn to be thick! What's with the skateboarding ramp?
  4. That depends on what you mean by 'amazing'!
  5. According to BBC East, storms in the west of the region (?) will die-out later...According to main BBC forecast, there aren't any...I'll go with he Main. There aren't any!
  6. I guess they didn't predict the increased cloud-cover. That said, neither did I!
  7. To be fair to SS, it was the Daily Express that said that...And we all know what that means!
  8. That's a fair question DB...But, that said, don't more than 9/10 UK summers deliver just that?
  9. Sorry IF. I meant: is there a correlation between summer ice-loss and following winter's snowfall...
  10. I just look to the end: if I see the words 'Games experience' I turn it off!
  11. In the space of about 5 minutes', all the interesting clouds have buggered off!
  12. Taking a purely superficial look, it appears that the upsurges follow Arctic ice minima? I wonder if that same might happen this winter? Warning! Could be wishful thinking...
  13. Village must be controlling the weather-machine today then?
  14. Indeed it is but, as it's all shooting past so quickly, it's gone even faster than it arrives...
  15. Just a very sticky 31C here just now! very hard to see the clouds that matter!
  16. Nothing here...Just a bright, still, oppressive 30C...
  17. But, IMO, the root of the matter is the global rise in temperature, and that it is being amplified at high latitudes...Surely the first notable impact of the 'quiet Sun' (hypothesis) should be global cooling. And,as yet, there hasn't been any...Similarly, the idea that Arctic ice-extent affects Northern latitudes' weather patterns (including the Jet Stream) is also wholly open to falsification...
  18. AC towers approaching from south. At 28.5, an rising, the cap must be under threat?
  19. Fingers of Ac rushing northwards, but still quite sunny, 28C...
