    And we certainly will if we ever succeed in obliterating the Amazonian rainforest? Even if we manage only to delay the next major bout of glaciation (quite conceivable) we'll have overridden 'planetary cycles' to an extent? Or, and perhaps more correctly, we may force those natural cycles to manifest themselves in new and unforeseeable ways?
