Humidity seems to have dropped, but still pretty warm. We shall see...

There's a band of not yet electrified rain just made landfall near Brighton...
-
Seeing some elevated CB, but fairly certain the Reading cell is too far. Is this something new forming over East/Central London?

false returns I'm afraid....nothing happening here..................yet
Oh ok. Why do they show up when there's nothing happening? Is it a glitch in the system?

Fresh sferics appearing near Swindon. All quiet here still, but the wind has picked up a bit

The West London cell now looks to be backbuilding out towards Slough

Seeing some very very distant convection to the WNW

That Kent cell seems to have died

Very hot and hazy here. Not sure what the haze means...

In the SLGT. The next 2 days could be interesting...

A lot of reports of booms coming from the NW today. Is there an airshow anywhere up there soon? If so, it could be a fighter preparing

The seemingly invincible cap may be about to break!

And the wait from 25th June continues. It's tomorrow or bust for 2016 here I reckon. It's sunny and 30C

There was some threatening clouds to the West but they've all reduced right down to almost nothing

Driving up the M1 just now was accompanied past Milton Keynes by the most impressive shelf cloud I have seen for a long time. . The structure was superb but I was driving,it was almost dark, and Newport Pagnell was underneath the edge so a picture wouldn't have worked.
There was something like that in almost exactly the same place yesterday

Seeing all you saying about your storms makes me realise that we haven't had a proper one here since the early hours of June 23rd! There was a few distant rumbles on June 25, but nothing close

Holy mother of god, seen the rate on that one heading for Denmark again !!!!!
Is that the massive one that hit the UK yesterday, or a separate one?
-
I can't believe the massive storm from earlier is still going! It's in the North Sea and not far from Denmark.
Also noticed an isolated sferic NE of Norwich, glitch?
-
ITV just said chance of storms overnight tonight, but that's the only place I've seen that forecast...
-
There is a shower near Le Havre but I'm not really expecting anything to come of it. Other than that, all quiet in the Channel for now

I think the North Sea may play a part tonight, if that storm in Belgium comes this way
