Yeah, I think you're right, Windblade. Hasn't rained here, or felt at all stormy all day. All the cells have missed me.
-
Looking a little bit dark to the W and NW but only seems to be light rain on radar. Lot of nowcasting to be done today, I'd say.
-
Typical spring day here so far. Sun's been in and out, but it doesn't feel humid outside at all. Not sure of our chances here today...
-
Had 2 rumbles from a storm that passed pretty nearby tonight. Not sure if that's enough to get me completely out of the club, but I'll put my shoes and coat on...

Storm all but cleared out now. Wasn't much, but 2 strikes are better than none!

Quite an inactive cell this one, only heard two rumbles so far. Both IC I'd say, as all the nearest ones on the detectors are out of earshot. Still, my first thunder of 2017!

THUNDER!!!!!!!

Woah! Incredible skies to the West!! Looking almost identical to what Windblade has just described! I don't know how it isn't electrified yet!
-
Something's brewing to the WSW. Think it's just rain though
-
Had quite a quick, heavy shower around 1:00pm today, I did hear what may possibly have been a rumble but highly doubt it, and it was far more likely to have been a lorry going over a speed bump outside of my school!
Quite a seemingly potent little cell going off down in Hampshire right now as well.

I'm not sure, that storm in France does seem to have quite a bit of momentum behind it, we might get a rumble or two in the extreme East of Kent
Actually, not so sure, it seems to be heading NE towards Belgium now...

Yes it seems that way. Pretty much everything in France has died, don't think anything will be crossing the Channel tonight.
-
The storm coming up through France seems to be on a perfect trajectory for a Kent Clipper, if it makes it that far
-
It's not raining here when it should be, but still very humid
-
Been very humid all day today, with some unstable looking skies. Thinking that anything electrical tomorrow will be a Kent Clipper and that here will just be rain, but we shall see!
-
The same cloud that just soaked all the Spurs legends on the pitch at White Hart Lane now appears to be heading for me, but it is only rain.
-
I'm still very firmly in here. Haven't heard thunder since last September.
-
Further to what's been said about storms in Europe over the past couple of days, earlier, Blitzortung was showing an almost unbroken line of lightning from Barcelona to Hamburg! Incredible stuff!!

Quite cloudy here currently. Few small showers around looking at the radar, but nothing major, though to be honest I wasn't expecting anything today
-
Think I'm too far South East for anything today
-
The import over Kent seems to be weakening. Hasn't put out anything electrical for ages. Think that was my only hope (albeit slim) for tonight. Calling it a bust.
-
Really can't make my mind up about this...

Good idea about the new thread if things do get exciting later.
Little bit of AC round here now, and the sun has been out virtually all day, so surface heating could potentially play a part here.
My weather station is reading a toasty 24.8C but it tends to read a few degrees high, so the actual temperature is probably around 17-18C
