Hmm, if something's kicking off already then tonight could be interesting. Not for me, but certainly over quite a large area from the Midlands northwards I think

Ok then. So going by the latest Convective Weather Forecast literally anywhere could see a storm tomorrow. Not getting my hopes up, and think it's very unlikely that I'll see anything tomorrow, but you never know...

Well good luck, everybody. I hope you enjoy a nice storm, but spare a thought for us in the SE as we suffer another swelteringly sleepless night!

I feel like when one area goes bang tonight, so will everywhere else. Only problem is that nothing is going bang right now.

I'd say it's anaprop
-
Nothing here as expected, but good luck everyone else!

Sleeping tonight is not going to be fun, although there is something of a slight breeze coming in the window, and that combined with the fan should hopefully help somewhat.
-
I feel you, Windblade. Window wide open, blinds closed, fan on full blast and my room is still too hot. Really dreading school tomorrow just because it's going to be absolutely sweltering. The quicker this heat goes, the better.
-
All cloud has disappeared. Think I'm going to go ahead and call a bust.
Whatever does or doesn't happen though, I'm too bloomin' hot!

Interesting skies here. Crystal clear blue to the east, but a lot of convection off to the west. Think I'm going to be too far East for storms today.
-
Very warm out. Cloud is forming quickly but burning off quickly. We'll see.

Same here. Lots of cloud just formed from nowhere.
-
More potential? I feel like we're starting to get a little bit greedy down here in the SE!
-
That could well have been a rumble...
Could do with storms staying away, got exams at school tomorrow and need some sleep!

Keep thinking I hear distant rumbles but there's nothing around so must be imagining it...

Plenty of thunder here but no lightning. Seagulls were going nuts for a couple of minutes but have now calmed down.
Are you sure it's thunder and not just the strong winds? Nothing showing up on lightning detectors, and I don't think the SE was forecast thunder for tonight.
Please correct me if I'm wrong

Indeed, I just took a pounding from that. Not quite last Sunday night, but there was some extremely heavy hail. Haven't heard a rumble for a while so I think it's moved away now,
Edit: Oh wow, the cold front is already over London now, so that's probably it for today
-
Oooo that was a close one
-
Had near constant thunder for the past 15 minutes or so, and hail just started falling from nowhere.
Also saw a lovely white CG a few minutes ago

Just heard closest rumble so far today. Think the edge of the South London cell might hit me.
In fact, the rumbles are almost constant!
-
Just heard a couple more very distamt rumbles. Also, do you see that small dry area at the bottom of Essex on the radar? Guess who's in that area!
-
Haven't heard anything for a little bit, although that South London cell might give me a rumble or two later
-
Heard a couple more very distant rumbles but nothing really close. No lightning seen. Thought I saw a funnel earlier but I think it's just scud

Hot and humid here with milky skies. Know we're not due anything tonight but that Met O warning for tomorrow morning has caught my eye...
