    Just had a look back at the 70's records for glasgow airport at 45 m above sea level for 1976 which was a relatively mild winter up here and snow is mention in 31 days out the winters 90 days , how times have definitely changed

    I had a quick look at glasgow in the 70's , on the whole 9c was a very mild winters day

    Just checked in and my what a big fail from the models , a real disappointment from a few days ago , we would be as well sticking a stick out the window they have been really poor

    Sorry didn't convey that correctly , I meant the normal, sheffield normal would be 5.5C and CET 4.8C if I am reading it right
