    The real reason is probably because the Americans are seeding and diverting the hurricanes. It's called weather modification but they will never admit to it

    It looks like a very quite hurricane season is now likely This is at odds at what was predicted by many scientists and senior met people. It just goes to show the weather will do what it likes and the likelihood is no one will ever be able to accurately forecast beyond about 10 days. All this talk aswell about a cold Winter is only hobwash. Nobody knows and what we do know is that the climate is rapidly warming. Cold Winter my eye pbly another warmest ever coming up

    Anyone got info as to the current strength of Dean and also what time it's due to hit Jamaica?? It does indeed look like Jamaica could be severly damaged with this storm. And yes I agree the media are slightly oblivious to the whole thing. Then again they rely on the Met so you can't really blame them

    The rain over the channel looks very severe to me and looks to be heading straight towards London. If I was net weather I'd be updating things very fast for the southeast

    Some places have had rainfall every day for over 70days I think one would struggle to find a year that beats that in Summer Don't forget Paul we had a poor Summer only a couple of years ago. This one has been extraordinary
