    Well last year would have taken some beating And yes I think it was even worse. Apart from the 1st week of June, it has rained almost every day in some part of Ireland. Windy too most of the time. In fact apart from the extra daylight it may aswell be Winter. And the best part is we have Autumn and Winter proper all ahead of us

    One other point of note is the beeb seem fairly confident of things settling down this wkd. ECM out on its own even by Saturday. Still the beeb have been wrong before.....

    The 12z continues the misery Extraordinary really the way it just vanishes the high pressure that was looking odds on for late this week. The azores high proves weaker than first thought and doesn't even extend it's ridge over the far west mow. All and all very depressing but c'est la vie......

    I wonder what's the lowest maxima for May?? It hasn't gone above 16C here yet this Spring / Summer Maybe it's global warming is a cause, but if it is it certainly doesn't mean warmer Summers - more like the opposite

    It's now looking like the majority of Ireland will escape snowfall Incredible after the UK getting such a pasting. We truly are cursed and this proves it. Just watched the beeb and he's talking more and more about rain and sleet. Last chance looks like tomorrow, then a gradual but noticeable increase in temps. Darkman / Matty I see ye got little snow today. You can now add me to the sorrow

    Guys if you want to know who flies into cork here's a rough idea. Aer Lingus from Heathrow, Ryanair from Stanstead, and aer arann from Birmingham / Edinburgh Also I think British Midland fly from some Uk airports aswell as Be my baby from central uk We need to get more numders here. Cork's a beautiful place :lol:
