     well yes, in winter

    Exactly my point. 🙂

I would like some sun and warmth now also, now that we are well into spring. We are certainly long overdue a long spell of settled weather.

  2.  MattStoke As much as I am looking forward to some spring warmth and summer heat, it would be nice if we could start challenging some more cold records during autumn and winter. We are forever challenging warm records these days.

  3. At this time of the year would you rather have cold and sunny with daytime temps no higher than 10 Celsius (cold for April) along with frosty nights, or warmer than average but unsettled?

I would personally take the cold and sunny. Whilst the cool temps and frosty nights would be frustrating from a gardening perspective, at least it will still feel relatively pleasant during the day with the strengthening sun.

I’m quite happy with temps of 22c to 27c as long as there’s lots of sun and overnight rain  🌞

My mother often says that her ideal climate would be warm and sunny everyday all year round and only rain at night. 🙂

  5.  markyo Whilst I too do not want anything cold now and am looking forward to the 20+ Celsius days, it is interesting how mentioning that you want unseasonably warm weather during autumn doesn't batter an eyelid, but when mentioning that you want unseasonal cold in spring you are shot down for it.

Personally, I don't like warm autumns any more or any less than cold springs. I like all four seasons to be seasonal.

  6. Yet another day that was forecast to be a washout. But it's actually been dry so far today and the sun is out. Seems as if the weather can't make its mind up at the moment. I'm certainly not complaining though.
