    Spring like in Hampshire today. I can smell the coffee...I wouldn't be surprised if predicted colder period goes south to France , Spain, and Africa, . We will get the cooler drizzle.

    Throughout the winter, I have read about record cold and snow in large swaves of the northern hemisphere, .UK however just the usual odd snow days if that. I do believe winter maybe over in UK.

    Paris had a good dump heaviest in 30 years. I bet Spain gets it again like last year. Could get car off ferry at Bilbao due to blizzards. UK winter almost over as my thoughts turn towards spring.

    Looks like a benign end to UKWinter after all, hopefully with early Spring. Concern about water levels. Some resovoirs runn at 33%. 2018 drought Year !

    New York wind chill - 30 with dusting of snow, 2 inches.

    Currently 14c here, must one of the warmest days on record for December. Could be worse, its 64 degrees colder in North America.

    Well, what a surprise this morning after a BBQ Xmas. 1 inch of snow which layed No mention of this 24 hours ago on forecast local to me. First snowfall in 4 Years.

    Last night at 10 c was warmer than some nights in July this Year. Central heating off in prep for BBQ Xmas and NewYear.

    Looks like snow going America's and Europe's way after all, whilst UK same old pork chops.

    Some mountains in Italy have had 16 feet of snow according to the BBC news. Sadly many people have died in an avalanche

    And a friend who lives in Murcia, Spain said that the snow is blizzard like. Apparently coldest winter for 35 Years and forecast to continue. Shame we are not 2000 miles nearer to the med. I said last Week that Spain would get a dumping.

    The big freeze continues in vast areas of Europe. Many have died which is sad but always happens. I wonder if this will be the coldest winter for a generation. TV were showing blzzards in Venice!!!!!. Siberian cold due to hit Spain from on Wednesday with snow right down to the Mediterranean coast.

    Well still waiting for the for the front loaded amazingly potential winter of cold. The only amazing thing we have had in Hampshire is constant mist, cool and cloud though we had 1 inch of snow in the mega 1 day cold event last Week which is more than the last 5 Years combined. I'm now ready for the front loaded spring which I sense maybe nearer than experts are willing to forecast.
