I see the other model network are calling winter over in the UK, not that it really began any now. -

I see the GFS is projecting bitter cold for much of Europe including France . UK to be mild and cool. I said this 1 Month ago. That reminds of the same set up when Paris had deep snow and snow on the beaches of Spain. I couldn't get of the ferry ramp at Bibao due to deep snow. -

I recall snow in march 1 foot and 4 inches in April here in Hampshire. I think we should pray for 2 Months of rain before Spring other wise we will have droughts in Summer under cool cloudy skies -

A sign that winter is over often comes in the form of 50% off antifreeze -

But we will get a water shortage this Year due to lack of rain, even if we get a monsoon in July and August. We really need this set up in Summer for the sun. Not looking forward to easterlies in March onwards. -

One thing is sure, we need a change from what we have and we need it now. it affects health and wellbeing. The lack of sun and pollution builds up due to lack of wind. The last 24 days or so have been cloudy, cool, and damp. This is not good for us. -

Its almost guaranteed, 3 to 4 Months from 01/03/17, Easterly blast, like last Year when ' Spring /Summer' arrived in July. Unfortunately, by then you are ledt with cool damp cloudy conditions. -

Wishing everyone a prosperous New Year and looking at the models, a very early Spring. Does anyone know if tomorrow will be hot, cold, dry or wet. I did think about consulting a Psychic over this. -

The most common theme spoken about is day 10. You know that the horizon always remains out of reach -

There seems to be a pattern of positive swings in the evening followed by deflation in the morning. These models almost seem to flip from day to day. Why curse the models when it seems that we are never really sure what weather we will get in 48 hours. We invest our time and energy and raise our hopes and convince ourselves of what is to come, only to be replaced so many times by a case of wishful thinking. -

On the eve of the warmest recorded temperature in the UK, a climate expert who was interviewed on radio 4 was asked the question 'why'. The answer.....' Its the direction of the wind'. There is a radio show each day this week on radio 4 at 9.45 its all about snow and snow flakes. My TV licence pays for this! -

The only pattern that seems consistent in the models is excitement in the morning bordering on hysteria followed by tears in the evening. At this juncture, I sense that I have nothing to moan about at this time. -

Looks like the whole northern hemisphere is going into deep freeze from next Week. America, Russia, Asia, many parts of Europe. There is one exception and I will leave you to guess where! I do believe that this winter may well be the best summer we never had !
