  2. Well the front has arrived over western Ireland where its giving snow inland so that must be a good sign?
  3. Nah it will shift 100 miles west at 06h and they will be gutted!

  6. We don't get 6 inch plus snowfalls every Winter more like 1 in 5 plus Winters for lowland Midlands, best not to have high expectations and be grateful for any snow you get

  8. It was always going to be difficult for the Midlands to get much in the way of snow this week purely due to altitude, still would nt rule a covering though in places at lower elevation.

  13. Dont get too hung up it will move again. Re the Irish Sea I am 10 miles from the sea and have had 2 decent snowfalls in the past week with winds from WSW.

  16. Those precipitation models often undercook, I think there will be local/ regional heavier falls.

  20. Its great fun having a stab and seeing how it pans out Not sure about a little - some hilly areas will get many cm I'm sure!
  21. Indeed its interesting trying to work it all out, but its a hit and miss week on the whole if its snow you are after :) Some areas will be in luck though I'm sure!
