Not much you can do in the heat if you feel dizzy as soon as you step outside the door. I'm tired of sitting in the dark because its too hot to have lights on. I'm tired of having my sleep disrupted. I'm tired of feeling sick and dizzy all day. Summer is a vile season. We can't have nice weather without heat from sodding europe.

As I've said before those who enjoy the heat have it much better than those who enjoy the cold. Its absolutely stifling where I am right now. I am sick of having to sit in the dark because having lights on add to the heat even more. I have a good quality pedestal fan on full blast and its still oppressive. I would love nothing more than to have dry and sunny weather with comfortable temps. But you can't have that after mid-may here. Its all plumes this, and heatwaves that. 20/11 or 22/12 is enough for me. 17c+ nights can go and hang. I have no idea how the southerners enjoy it; must be a good 20-21 overnight easily. We have been cheated out of cold winters now for about 7 years. Was mild as hell last year.

The BBC is only accurate if a weather station exists within 5 miles of a specified location. For my area, they've literally been updating on the day. How that qualifies as forecasting is beyond me.

I'm very consistent: only moan if its above 22/23c. Knock about 5/6 degrees off of today's values and it will at least be tolerable. 16/17c+ nights can go and hang.

Dry, yes. Hot, hell no. 20/21 is enough for me. Still above average, but COMFORTABLE. 16/17c nights can go and hang.

Whoops. Meant to say 74 lol Even better! I have no idea what the temperature here even in since their isn't a weather station close enough to give accurate data. I feel dizzy and tired nonetheless. None of that guff in the winter. We better get a damn cold one to offset this weather.

Roll on Autumn. Just 84 days to go. Since we can't have nice weather without heat, a repeat of 2007/2012 will do nicely.

If I lived down south I would have gone mad years ago. Only an electric fan. I tried an air cooler one year; water tank emptied very quickly and was very ineffective. We all feel the temperatures differently. I was out shopping this afternoon and saw people in winter coats whilst others were in t-shirts and shorts. I always feel warm anyway so I don't feel uncomfortable in the winter. In summer though you can add about 3 degrees to what it actually is. Though living in Skem its hard to know what that is without your own thermometer. All the weather stations the sites use are nowhere near here. Take netweather; 21 feels like 24 yesterday. Yet it was about 17. Today is claims it was 22 but must have been 25 at some point easily. Maybe even 26. Some more examples of today for my location: BBC: 22 Metoffice: 22 MSN weather: 21 Yahoo weather: 21 Accuweather: 23 Weather channel: 26 Weather underground: 25 Can't even get current conditions right. For someone who's brain works on a binary system, its maddening.

Maybe because they work? Or like to get a proper sleep? Just a thought for the more selfish amongst you. And FYI I don't want wet weather; I'd settle for dry, sunny and comfortable. Sadly we can't get that here in the UK past first half of may without those vile currents from the continent.

If thats the 12z you're posting from, it shows the hot day as wednesday rather than thursday with a downward trend from there onwards temperature-wise.
