  1. Personally, I'll be glad when I see the back of Summer. Every day its a 4x a day stress-fest about what the models are going to show next. GFS 18z sums that up nicely. Hope to god its an outlier. Settled and average would be nice. Beyond that, it can do one. The constant ramping on the model thread with even the *smallest* insinuation is also tiresome.
  2. I know PE teachers can wear shorts in the peak of winter. So maybe you have a point.
  3. Thats an understatement! Still the weatheroutlook's Brian Gaze apparently can sleep in Death Valley with no air con. Sometimes I wonder if that guy is human.
  4. You may not believe this, but I don't want the filth of either extreme. I thought today's conditions and temps were lovely. If that would continue until september, then I would have thought everyone would be happy. Still going from the more extreme heat lovers, nothing short of boiling is enough.
  5. I'll hold you to that lol, since the GFS 12z has other ideas
  6. Upper 30s would hardly be "usable" either. Like I said, we can only hope for a continuation of today's conditions and temps; a happy medium.
  7. Nor do I want to see what the GFS is propagating. Today's conditions from now until the Autumn would suit everybody (bar the diehard heat lovers that is)
  8. The trouble is, the ECM stops on T240, which is just before the GFS goes into meltdown.
  9. There's some support for it on the GEFS. The Control agrees with the OP run. If the ECM even comes close to backing it, we're in for hell on earth with those temps.
  10. There's been a few newspaper articles with whispers of something like that though. Still I hope to god you're right C.S. Never thought I'd see myself saying that this time of year.
  11. Damn the GFS! Look at the tail end of next week . I need to lie down. For the love of god why can't the weather stay like it is today? I just died inside.
  12. Even more of a shame that the media's once again ramping the prospect of much nastier conditions. As usual citing the metoffice's 3 month outlook and the weatheroutlook's Brian Gaze as the sources.
  13. Don't forget the incessant birds chirping away at 3 a.m lol
  14. Gotta love it when the clocks go back; an extra hour in bed!
  15. Nights starting to draw in. Only a few minutes, but its a start!
  16. I suppose it could, but places like canada and moscow don't grind to a halt.
  17. Where to start? Schools close Taxis won't drive in it Buses are taken off Airports are crippled with it Trains don't run morons raid the shops as soon as the see a flake of snow Pretty much it really.
  18. Even I'm not that extreme lol. Snow would be welcome if this damn country could cope with it. Morons empty the shops as soon as they see a flake.
