And we're back in the cloud and gloom

Been a lovely morning here, sunny skies, temp nr 15c, but cloud is beginning to fil in the blue areas. Doubt we shall see snow in this area, would be nice just to have crisp frosty morning and sunny cold days, dont want the gloom dull cloudy muck back again for a while please.

Beeb weather app going for sleet symbols on Friday 26th, so rain it is then As for today stayed mostly sunny(ish) reached the dizzy height of 11c, dropped down now to around 8c, but not looking like it will get much lower than 5/6c overnight.

Breaking News from the East of EA, we have blue skies with wispy white clouds and the sun is out, although from my small north facing garden it isnt going to make itself known until next April year. How long before the cloud comes back from the north sea nobody knows, temp currently 7c.

Relief to know its still up there........somewhere. Not a glimpse for days, but at least today has only been really cloudy and dull, no drizzle so thats an improvement over the weekend.

Rinse, repeat from yesterday, with maybe a little less drizzle. Blurgh.

Non stop drizzle/light rain showers here, put washing out early on when there was nothing and now its wetter than when it came out the machine, stuff it, it can stay out now and hope to dry a bit tomorrow, so much for a decent weekend, albeit slightly cloudy, flipping awful here.

@Soaring Hawk yes my boy has just about got over the trauma and almost (except being a constant shadow) back to normal and indeed, just love being bounced on and woken up at about half 11 NYE! Weather here yesterday was awful, a fine misty drizzle most of the day, only interrupted by a heavier drizzle now and then, with no breeze to move it along. This morning we have light fog/mist without drizzle and feeling quite mild, might see some sunshine today if the wind blows the cloud away, thats if we get any wind to do that.

Considering our local forecast was for overcast and cloudy today, its been a pretty good day, mild to start and sunshine most of the day until around 3pm when the cloud started to come over, top temp 15c.

Sorry you have such horrific (and the swear filter wouldnt allow what I would actually like to call them), neighbours, hope doggie is ok today. Mine was already stressed from the previous night and in fact we didnt really have that many, but it only takes one to set him off, so was in a state before the local display started (which is maybe 5-6 miles away but he can still hear them), and today has his usual stress stomach runs. Hopefully tonight will be quieter for us all . Been a largely sunny day here, 12c reached again, but with the nagging cold wind, washing been on the line all day but still not quite dry.

Rain has arrived again, unfortunately not heavy enough or going to last long enough to stop the effing fireworks

Its definitely getting quite blustery out there now. Had a few periods of sun but mostly a cloudy day with some patchy rain earlier on this morning, temps 12c.

Thoroughly vile day really, non stop showers pilling in from the north, chilly northly wind, not much sun and temps allegedly at 10c but feels much colder,

It is chucking it down, on the plus side the temp has risen to 9c, but no chance of a frost tonight.

Low cloud has rolled in and its a touch misty in places to, temp only 7c

Lovely afternoon in the sunshine, been for a walk (pushing my mother in a wheelchair) along Lowestoft sea front, sat and had a cuppa, sun on my back was quite warm, only a slight breeze. Autumn can stay like this please, frosty mornings and lots of sun during the day.

Rain passed and now the sun is out and the winds have dropped, might take a while to dry things out though.

Was dry first thing, 6am dog walk wasnt a wash out, thankfully. But the rain arrived around 8am and looks to be set in for a good few hours, possible flooding issues around here on some of the country roads at least.

After all the rain this morning the afternoon was more sunny, temps only reached 14c. Quite a lovely sunset whilst out walking the pooches.

Had almost constant rain here this morning from 6-30 onwards, got absolutely soaked walking the dogs at that time and its been ranging for light to torrential ever since, at one point thought the garden was going to be completely flooded, its dropped off a bit now, so the rain has had time to drain a bit. Looks like another hour or so before it clears through completely. Temp currently 13c and Ive put the heating on, which is a nightmare due to the gas prices, paying over 50% more this winter for heating, so hoping we get a very mild few months ahead.

15c still this morning, not sure it dropped over night at all, warm breeze blowing and I think its cloudy under the darkness.
