Just had a smallest cell in Reading, about 5 flashes around the same time, over as quickly as it started. Hail too. Moving along the M4 towards London.
I can hear Thunder, it's a few miles too south to see it, cloud is moving very fast around it though, nice concentration of very dark skies, light cloud and even patches of blue around it.
Also has the storm over Norfolk essentially split into three, one shooting up along the coast, one moving west into the wash and the other essentially staying put or barely moving.
Must be interested to be in Peterborough or March right now, there seems to be activity in most directions around them at once from different cells, some moving faster than others, some gaining momentum and others calming down.
Things are starting to change, lost all blue skies, now the haze has gone, its getting a pretty solid cloud cover now, though still very light in colour, not menacing at all.
I'm not even annoyed about the lack of activity around these parts as the forecasts got it pretty accurate, cells passed over here but didn't kick off until they were much further north-northeast which looks about right. The only shame is that it's still really hot and sticky here already, wouldn't mind some relief from that.
