  1. You holding out for the south coast? I'm sat somewhere near the M25 in kent, no idea what to do. That Norwich storm was always heading the wrong way for me
  2. I'm guessing it's a bit late to make the 2.5hr drive to Norfolk at this point?
  3. Yes. If you were in Wrexham you could have given us a wonderful video of that supercellish monster heading to north Wales right now
  4. Your arrow looks like a positive strike. Signs of convectual frustration?
  5. Maybe good things will come to those who wait. I must add though, I'm starting to have a good feeling about Tuesday regardless. Anyone remember September 13th 2016? It was the best storm I've ever seen and Tuesday's convective weather forecast reminds me of that Tuesday's convective weather forecast....
  6. I know there's a lot of excitement for Tuesday but any thoughts on Thursday? I don't think I can justify driving west of say Reading after finishing work if it's likely to happen again closer to home
  7. Is it looking like a nighttime jobby? The thought of daytime temps hitting 33° makes me feel very encouraged about what could happen. If I don't melt in the bus that is
  8. The GB-wide line of cloud is forming a big smile. It is saying "hahaha, I'm not going to let thunderstorms form along me" Edit: I'm going to stop posting for at least a day. I've become bored of my own comments
  9. I think today will be very messy but also eventful. It's already extremely humid in London despite last night's torrential rain. I don't know how it feels further west
  10. Distant thunder heard in Bromley about 30 seconds after its flash. So I guess six miles away?
  11. I think the 28th June 2012 is a poisoned chalice for any area. Look at Newcastle, they got their supercell that day - then, more recently on 29th June, were placed in a severe / moderate risk zone and robbed accordingly
  12. Elevated storms are becoming my favourite for the UK because they seem to be packed with surprises and don't rely on daytime heating
