    Sounds similar to my experience hopefully we can get some more but i'm not particularly hopeful but it'll be a nice surprise if there is more. You should keep an eye on the heavy shower around Chester which might give you one or two flashes.

    Ah well will take it was a decent little storm feels like a bonus now after Tuesday night so I'm happy. Will try and photograph the structure as it moves away.

    Tweet of the hail from someone in Wrexham looks like a reasonable size.

    Yeah looks impressive but missed the worst of it to the east I live in the NW of Wrexham and had some pretty heavy rain and could see the downdrafts but that's all. Mostly IC lightning and it went to the east of me might have been better at night perhaps.

    Lots of nice thunder but didn't see many CG's not sure you actually missed much really Tuesday night was better.

    Mostly IC lightning I think only seen one or two CG's. Or it's too bright and I'm struggling to see them.

    Interesting to see the mention of the possibility of a couple of supercells and tornadoes tomorrow afternoon/evening in the NW from Convective Weather. Imagine if we break the record temperature in the SE meanwhile there are supercells breaking out in the West would be quite the weather day.

    Yeah you missed out on a good storm here lots of IC lightning not many CG's though. Plenty of booming thunder and constant flashing. And some rain/hail for good measure.

    Constant thunder and lightning here in Wrexham and some light rain.

    Keep an eye out on the stuff out to the South/West in case it expands eastwards.

    It's all elevated no rain just seeing flashes every 30 seconds or so. Probably from the system out to my west.

    Think things will start to set off over the next hour or so as the plume heads further north. Showers are beginning to form further north now with one over Barmouth way.

    Might be seeing that shower over towards Abergavenny or the showers over Swansea way.

    Hard to tell at the moment keep an eye on the radars for later most likely early morning between 1-3am but can't rule something out a bit earlier.

    35.2 is the highest held here since 1990 at Hawarden and is the record for Wales don't think we'll be getting close to that though anywhere in Wales as the heat is further East.

    Not exactly surprised imo the potential was always there but the worst of it was always going to be further West. Good luck tonight everyone hoping i break my storm draught tonight
