    Well the only good thing from the gfs 18z run is a second warning finishing of the pv for good . This is all looking very poor now from where we were 4/5 days ago . Don’t like to be negative but it’s just feels like one big kick in the nuts . Fingers crossed we pull at least 1 decent spell of weather out of this .

    Surely you would have thought the ECM has got this over GFS tho wouldn’t you ? Especially at day 3 . That’s seems really poor at day 3 one of these has got it wrong especially high up when it’s meant to be more reliable forecasting higher up . I suppose we shall soon see who has it right …….

    Strong warming on the 6z . Lot of doom and gloom on here this morning . I feel up beat for start Jan .

    Pressure higher to the south ? But it is very similar right ? Really hope we get something Jan . I feel slightly more confident after EC46 and ssw potential etc

    Certainly is . Looks similar to those EC 46 charts for the start of Jan over are side of the globe so……..

    To be fair it has been very consistent for multiple runs with heights towards Greenland . Let’s hope it’s right and not a garden path Jobby .

    Oh no not a slider this place has been nuts enough and now we’re gonna throw a slider into the mix . It’s north a bit it south a bit = in the end it completely misses to the south lol . Looking forward to it

    Yep fairly strong warming on the 18z . Been watching this for the last several runs and that’s the strongest one so far I think .

    Great runs this morning . I’m getting excited but know I’ve gotta hold it together . The ECM still being a grinch . But looking at the ens there’s loads of spread and later i believe it will jump to the colder solutions on the 12z run . Well that’s the plan anyway .
