    A very humid 29.8c here dew point at 20c.... sizzle sizzle..... my sun thermo says 37c.... hot hot hot... 34c in melun near paris.... wish it would go with a big boom.....

    Sheerness webcam (nearest to me) looks positively iberian.... lovely clear skies and blue sea.....

    With my teracotta pottery and mediterranean plants in courtyard patio feels like back home in mallorca.... paella for dinner tonight....

    20c at 630am and low of 19.2c..... today is going to be a scorcher..... bbc saying 29c here today.... hot hot hot.... but still suffering with hayfever/cold/chest infection and heat isnt doing any favours....

    27.5c here but in sun its so hot..... just had walk down tescos and coming up that hill with four heavy bags of shopping.... needed a cold shower... just going to make a nice ice fruit smoothie.... a few clouds around but still hot. Looks like it might be staying hot until at least monday... ( my definition any temp above 25c and nightime 17-20c) last nights min 18.8c.... not nice when have hayfever/cold/sore throat and midge bites from loch lomond....

    Feels stormy out there, had to put away patio umbrella thought it mite fall on tomatoes.... if it were january id of thought it would snow very heavy soon..... bit humid out there too....strange with ne wind... hopefully itll be 20c odd saturday as going to world cup bbq.... rain promised all week here has fizzled to drizzle all week here so probably will do same according to latest radar.... eventhough pretty intense across channel all day... oh well storm shield up and ready to stop any weather system... we shall see and await morning....

    since 11am its been 24c and peaked at 24.8c but big rain drops fell half an hour ago and dropped to 23.5c but so much more humid today! Feels worse than yesterday eventhough we peaked at 28c.....

    bing bang boom for kent hopefully can really smell rain.... getting more humid by the minute dew point must be rising rapidly.... lovely watching tv outside for first time in 5 years..... gottalove swing based hdtv..... ps being in chaversham im not a chav or anything.....

    For those in se and especially kent, a very humid 20.8c here and extremely still..... very stormy feel here..... it will and can happen and between 4am and 10am is our time progged for something interesting.....

    can smell the rain.....

    I think people should be looking at radars later on rather than taking precipitation on gfs as gospel..... it looks wrong to me.... and you can only know maybe an hour or two in advance if your going to get a distant lightening show or an overhead thunderstorm.....
